POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Dec 10, 2025 : Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin arrived at Bangabhaban this noon to meet President Mohammed Shahabuddin to discuss the overall preparation of the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad election and referendum, including the announcement of the election schedule.
He reached Bangabhaban at 12:20 pm, after departing from the Election Commission Bhaban in Agargaons at 10:40 am.
Election Commissioners Abdur Rahmanel Masud, Begum Tahmida Ahmad, Md. Anwarul Islam Sarker, Brig Gen Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah (Retd.) and EC Secretariat Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed are accompanying the CEC.
The election schedule is expected to be announced this week.
Earlier,the Election Commission has sent letters to BTV and Bangladesh Betar to record the speech related to the schedule announcement.
