POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 13, 2022 : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned home after a five-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates. Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told the media on Saturday night.
Earlier, the Prime Minister left Abu Dhabi International Airport for Dhaka on a VVIP flight (BG-1302) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at 5:55 pm local time on Saturday.
Bangladesh Ambassador to the UAE. A high-level delegation from Abu Jafar and the UAE government bade farewell to the Prime Minister at the airport.
The Prime Minister left Dhaka on a five-day official visit on the evening of March 8 at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
During the visit, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held bilateral meetings with Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai. At the meeting, it was decided to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and increase trade and investment.
During the visit of the Prime Minister, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
Besides, a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Al Maktoum was held on March 9 at the Dubai Exhibition Center.
Foreign Minister. The Prime Minister is accompanied by AK Abdul Momen, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed, PM’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman and State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nesa Indira.
