POBNEWS24, Dhaka Aug 12, 2024 : BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir terming the attack on minorities as fake propaganda said that a faction is campaigning false and fabricated dramas to prove the mass awakening of Bangladesh as a failure and to fail the new government. I believe no one will believe it. He made these comments after paying tribute to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s younger son Arafat Rahman Koko on the occasion of his 55th birth anniversary at Banani Cemetery in the capital on Monday.
BNP Secretary General said, I wish for the forgiveness of the souls of the students who were martyred in the mass movement and pay tribute. Arafat Rahman Koko was not involved in politics. He was a sports lover and organizer. During his lifetime, he worked to take cricket to the international arena. On this day, we pay our respects to him.
He said that the interim government will be successful in promoting the sports arena of Bangladesh in the international arena. Calling for an election field to be created quickly, he said, arrange the election soon. People’s government will be formed through elections.
