POBNEWS24, Dhaka July 20, 2022 : The export revenue target for the current financial year has been set at $67 billion. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi announced this target of export income for the financial year 2022-23 in a briefing on Wednesday.
Tipu Munshi said, ‘For the current financial year 2022-23, a new target of 67 billion dollars has been set from the export of goods and services. Out of this, the overall export growth has been estimated at 11 percent.
The new revenue target for the commodity export sector has been set at $58 billion. And a new target of $9 billion has been set for the services sector. ‘
He said that in the last financial year, the export of goods was 52 billion dollars and the export of services was 8 billion dollars. Exports of manufactured garments were worth 42.2 billion dollars. A target of 46 billion dollars has been set in this sector in the new financial year.
