POBNEWS24, Dhaka Mar 2, 2026 :  King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Launches Humanitarian Aid to Support Food Security in 15 Countries, Including Bangladesh
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center) has launched a humanitarian airlift as part of its ongoing global food assistance initiatives, reaching 15 countries across multiple regions to support vulnerable communities and strengthen food security.
As part of this initiative, Bangladesh has been included among the beneficiary countries. The Center is providing 60,000 food baskets to support food security for Rohingya refugees and host communities, reinforcing essential relief efforts amid ongoing humanitarian and economic challenges. The food baskets contain staple items designed to meet basic nutritional needs and ease the burden on affected families.
This humanitarian aid operation reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s steadfast commitment to international humanitarian principles and its continued leadership in responding to food insecurity worldwide. Through rapid delivery, the Center ensures timely access to life-saving assistance for communities most in need.
The initiative is implemented in coordination with relevant partners to guarantee efficient distribution and maximum impact on the ground. It underscores the Center’s mission to provide impartial, effective, and sustainable humanitarian assistance, while contributing to stability and resilience in vulnerable regions.
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continues to expand its global relief programs, reaffirming its role as a key contributor to humanitarian aid and food security efforts around the world.
