The time for admission application for Jabir Honors has increased

POBNEWS24, Dhaka Nov 26, 2021 : The deadline for application for admission in the first year of graduation (honors) of Jagannath University in the academic year 2020-21 has been extended till November 30. Students who have passed the SSC or equivalent examination in 2016 or 2017 and HSC or equivalent examination in 2020 will be eligible to apply for admission in 20 general, science and technology public universities. Students will have the opportunity to apply with a fee of 600 rupees.

Registrar on the official website of the university . This information was given in a notification signed by Ohiduzzaman.

The notification said that the last time for students to apply is next Tuesday at 11:59 pm. Admission will be on the basis of merit list.
This year, a total of 2,065 students will get admission in the university. A total of 625 people in 13 departments of the Science Department of the Faculty of Science and Life and Earth Sciences of the University; A total of 1,260 people in two institutes and 15 departments in the B unit of the humanities department of the Institute of Arts, Social Sciences, Law, Education and Research and the Institute of Modern Languages; A total of 520 students will be admitted in four departments of the Faculty of Business Studies and 150 students in four specialized departments.

The last time for students to apply is next Tuesday at 11:59 pm. Admission will be on the basis of merit list.

According to the admission guidelines, students have to login from the official website of Jagannath University with the information related to secondary, higher secondary and integrated admission test. Applicants are required to select the subject on priority basis and fill in the quota information. Then you have to develop mobile banking services, pay the fee through rocket or cash.

Eligibility
of Application To apply for admission in the science branch of this unit, the minimum qualification for the students of Science, Madrasa (Science), Vocational (HSC) branches is to have a total GPA of 6.00 in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination (including fourth subject). However, the GPA obtained in any test cannot be below 3.50. Students of this unit also have the opportunity to be admitted in the prescribed subjects of B and C units.

For admission in the humanities branch of B unit, students of humanities, music, home, economics, madrasa (general, mujabbid) must have a total GPA of 6.00 in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations (including fourth subject). However, the GPA obtained in any test cannot be below 3.00.

This year, a total of 2,065 students will get admission in the university.

Students of Commerce, Diploma in Business Studies, HSC (Business Management), Diploma in Commerce SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations (including 4th subject) must have a total GPA of 6.50 for admission in the Commerce branch of C unit. However, the GPA obtained in any test cannot be below 3.00. Students of Commerce unit of C unit also have the opportunity to get admission in some of the subjects prescribed in the humanities branch of B unit.

Admission to the specialized music and fine arts department of the university requires a total GPA of 6.50 in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations (including the fourth subject). However, the GPA obtained in any test cannot be below 3.00.

Quota Admission Rates
Freedom fighters, disabled, tribals and teachers, officers and employees of Jagannath University have been given the opportunity to be admitted in the quota of children, husband and wife. Children of freedom fighters or grandchildren of freedom fighters 5 percent, 1 percent for tribal and disabled students, maximum 10 in player quota and two in each pet section.

Applicants are required to select the subject on priority basis and fill in the quota information. Then you have to develop mobile banking services, pay the fee through rocket or cash.

The number and distribution of the list

Music, Fine Arts, Drama and Film and Television: In these four categories, merit list will be given for each department on the basis of 100 marks of integrated admission test, 10 marks of SSC or equivalent result, 10 marks of HSC or equivalent result, 50 marks of practical and oral examination. .

University authorities said that students will be admitted on the basis of merit list. Detailed information on the admission application process can be found on the Jagannath University website.
