Analyzing military sources and his long career, it can be seen that he is well known to all as a very talented, sharp-witted and agile military officer of the Bangladesh Army. He has been appointed as the Director General of one of the country’s intelligence agencies by proving his qualifications, training and professionalism at home and abroad.
Major General Qaisar Rashid Chowdhury was commissioned as the second best cadet of the 29th BMA Long Course. He is currently the first officer of his course. His colleagues say that he has never been second in military training.

Bangladesh maintained this top position throughout his tenure. He made a very important contribution in creating new opportunities for the various security forces of Bangladesh in peacekeeping missions. He was a trusted advisor to the United Nations Secretary-General (MILAD) for his tireless work and talent.
A colleague of his (former army officer) recalled that his first term corporal in BMA was Qaisar Rashid, under whose hand his journey in the army began. From putting on boots to saluting for the first time in his life, he learned everything from this officer.
