POBNEWS24, Dhaka Jan 4, 2023 : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the police officers to be vigilant so that no one can destroy the government’s achievements and said that no one should be vigilant so that no one can repeat the arson attack.
He said this while addressing the senior officials of Bangladesh Police at the Prime Minister’s office on Wednesday (January 4) on the occasion of Police Week.
The prime minister told senior police officials that they will struggle with the movement and the people. But if someone does any destructive activities there, appropriate action should be taken against him.
He also said that there can be many things like party but no one can destroy any work for the sake of the country, for the welfare of the people, for the welfare of the country, for the development of the country, no one can create obstacles in any work. You should pay special attention to that.
Thanking the police force for their past contribution, the Prime Minister said, I thank you, you have played a big role in the progress of Bangladesh. You have suppressed man-made disasters, suppressed militancy, and continued our progress.
Sheikh Hasina said that the law and order of a country is the biggest and most important thing. Keeping that law and order under strict control is the responsibility of the police force. In fact, the responsibility is more on the police force.
The Prime Minister said that the law and order of a country is the most important thing. The police force has to fulfill the responsibility of keeping that law and order completely under control. For this reason, his government has increased the overall facilities of the police force by training and sector wise forces.
Highlighting the benefits of being in power for a long time, the Prime Minister said that the improvements we have made in Bangladesh today did not come by chance. We had to work hard for this. We have brought a great change in today’s Bangladesh. We ourselves don’t just say it verbally. Today, Bangladesh is praised all over the world.
