POBNEWS24, Dhaka June 25, 2022 : After the inauguration at Mawa, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina crossed the Padma Bridge and reached Jazira. There he unveiled the plaque and mural of the Padma Bridge.
He unveiled the plaque of the bridge at Jajira end around 12:30 pm on Saturday. He inaugurated the Padma Bridge at the end of Mawa shortly before 12 noon.
The Prime Minister’s convoy reached the Jazira end at around 12:30 pm. There is munajat. After that, the Prime Minister unveiled the ‘Father and Daughter’ theme ‘Murdhal-2’ and the bridge plaque. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, his economic adviser Mashiur Rahman, Chief Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad Noor Alam Chowdhury and other guests.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mawa took part in a rally at 10 am. At the end of the rally, he unveiled the Padma Bridge plaque and ‘Father and Daughter Themed’ Murdhal-1.
From the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister’s convoy climbed the bridge. After walking some distance, the Prime Minister and his convoy landed on the bridge. At that time several aircraft of the Air Force were displayed in the sky.
At around 10 am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived at Mawa Sudhi rally. He was the chief guest of this gathering. The rally was presided over by Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader. Then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina spoke.
