He said this at the reception for the 77th Republic Day of India. The reception was organized by the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh at the ‘Radisson Blue Water Garden Hotel’ in the capital on Saturday evening.
Advisor on Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Faozul Kabir Khan spoke as the chief guest at the event.
Top leaders of various political parties including BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jatiya Party were present at the reception. Besides, editors of various newspapers, media personnel, ambassadors of various countries, diplomats, retired military officers, high-ranking government officials and prominent figures from civil society were present.
At the reception, Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma and Mrs. Manu Verma greeted the invited guests.
Pranay Verma further said that an unforgettable history of sacrifice was written jointly during the independence struggle of Bangladesh in 1971. Our common love for literature, music and art has strengthened our bond. He said, together we can build regional chains, joint digital ecosystems and energy corridors.
