US-Bangladesh Air Force wartime exercise underway in Bangladesh, CPB says planned

POBNEWS24 Dhaka Sept 17, 2025 : A 7-day joint exercise ‘Operation Pacific Angel 25-3’ involving the Bangladesh Air Force and the US Pacific Air Force has begun. This joint exercise is being held at Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque in Chittagong.
On Wednesday, various types of exercises were conducted to deal with air, ground and wartime situations. The exercise practiced transporting seriously injured patients and transferring patients from one aircraft to another.
The Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate said that through such exercises, it will be possible to provide emergency medical assistance, maintain coordination during flights and improve the ability to make quick decisions. In addition, search and rescue activities are also being conducted in this exercise, through which the ability to provide coordinated cooperation and quick response in the rescue process of the injured in accidents, adverse weather conditions or on the battlefield is being acquired.
On the other hand, combat tracking and survival exercises have been included for wartime preparation on the ground. Through combat tracking exercises, the skills of identifying enemy movements, following covert movements and formulating strategic plans are being practiced.
Through survival exercises, practical experience is being gained in survival techniques using limited resources in hostile and most hostile environments, collecting food and drinks, hiding and strategies for safely escaping from enemy encirclement.
According to the ISPR, the ability of the forces to work together in emergency crisis situations and wartime operations will increase manifold through participation in this exercise. As a result, this exercise will be considered an important milestone in conducting future joint operations.
Ruhin Hossain Prince, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, said that this exercise is a planned exercise of US imperialism. This failed Yunus government implemented it long ago by providing a corridor for the protection of the Rohingyas in Myanmar.
