The court heard the application of the lawyer Z I Khan Panna, Syeda Nasrin and Md. Shahinuzzaman. Deputy Attorney General Abu Yahya Dulal and Assistant Attorney General Mizanur Rahman represented the state.

Md. Shahinuzzaman later told Kaler Kantha, “The rule has asked why the case will not be dismissed. The state has been asked to respond to the rule within four weeks. ”

On January 5, Parimani filed a petition in the High Court seeking quashing of the case after the Special Judge’s Court No. 10 in Dhaka framed charges in the case.

Assistant Attorney General Mizanur Rahman told Kaler Kanth: ”

Later, the investigating officer of the case (CID) Kazi Golam Mostafa filed a chargesheet against the three, including his girlfriend, on October 4 last year. On January 5, Judge Nazrul Islam of Dhaka’s Special Judge’s Court No. 10 framed charges against the three accused, including his girlfriend, in the case and set February 1 as the date for taking evidence. But none of the witnesses appeared in court that day and no evidence was taken. On the other hand, the accused’s girlfriend was not present in the court on that day.

Parimani’s lawyer Nilanjana Rifat Survi filed a petition in the court on the same day stating that she was ill. Judge Nazrul Islam granted the time limit and fixed Tuesday as the date for taking evidence.
